Trinity News

Today is Jeff’s last Sunday leading our regular service.  We wish him well and hope to see him again in the near future.

Flowers in the sanctuary this morning are placed by the Shoemaker family in remembrance of Bruce Shoemaker.

Our next congregational luncheon will be on Sunday May 26th, the Sunday we welcome our new minister, Rev. James Grunden, to Acton Trinity.  The service will revert to our normal 10 am timeframe.

Thank you Jen for providing the beautiful music this morning. And to Jane Adair for her solos, most enjoyable.

The annual garage sale is coming, May 25th, 2019.  We will be asking for donations for the bake table.

Our annual BBQ Chicken Take-Out Dinner is on Friday, June 7 from 5 pm to 7 pm.  In order to have a successful result, we will need help selling the tickets for the fabulous meal.  Please see Linda to pick up an envelope of 10 tickets to sell.  The cost for the dinner is $15.00 and it consists of a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, bun with butter and a dessert.

Attention singers! If you'd like to have a chance to run through the hymns prior to the Sunday morning service, meet Jen at the piano at 1045am. .

Jen is asking for your help in choosing anthems and would love to take requests! Speak to her directly or by email at jensmele@hotmail.com.  Feel free to share why the music selection is meaningful to you!

There are sign-up sheets asking for your attention: lighting Christ candle and cleaning up of the kitchen following the coffee time.   Please check your turn.

Nora will be away from the office for approximately 6 weeks after May 17th.  Any problems or concerns, please contact Andy Spiece.
