We are blessed, we have been successful in our search for a new minister.  Rev. James E. Grunden will be joining Trinity on May 26, 2019.  Rev. James is from Lethbridge.  We welcome Rev. James to our faith community.

Trinity News  

It is with a sadden heart that we celebrated the life of our beloved music director – Dr. George Elliott.  His service was be held on Saturday March 16th at 1 pm.  Lunch to followed. 

There will be a congregational lunch following today’s service. 

Going forward, we will celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month and the congregational lunch on the second Sunday. 

Thank you to Gill Le Fevre for leading our service this morning.   

Thank you to Jen Smele for providing the music this morning, beautiful as ever.  

The Lenten Study Group will continue on Tuesday Mornings beginning at 10a.m. and ending at 11.30a.m. They will began on Tuesday March 12 and run for five weeks. 

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the congregation has accepted the recommendation! Upon acceptance by Regional Council, Rev. James E. Grunden will be our new minister. His first Sunday is May 26, 2019@ 10am.  Rev. James will need a place to rent/stay when he first arrives. Please speak with Heather/Ken Clevely or Steve Bingham if you know of any possible short term rental options.

We are accepting request for hymns.  If you have a favourite hymn please let Rev. Jeff know and he will include it in a service. 

Jen is asking for your help in choosing anthems and would love to take requests! Speak to her directly or by email at jensmele@hotmail.com.  Feel free to share why the music selection is meaningful to you!

Community News 

Yeehaw!!  Wed. May 1st!   Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:00pm.  Tickets are $15/each and $40/family pass (2 adults & their kids under 18).  

Say “Yes” to the Dress is a yearly event at Bethel Church, 365 Queen St., Acton where a large variety of FREE beautiful, lightly used dresses & accessories are available for Grad or Prom, or whatever. Fri., Mar. 22, 4-8pm & Sat., Mar. 23, 10am-1pm. Free draw to win prizes. Donations also accepted at Bethel Church; Smooth Solutions, Acton; & Indaba Hair Studio, Georgetown. See bulletin board. 

Yoga at St. Andrew’s United Church 89 Mountainview Road South, Georgetown There will be an 8 week Yoga session starting onTuesday, March 19th, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.The cost is $40 for 8 weeks or $7 per session.
